Happy New Year! Belated.

Wayyy behind on posts over here. Last year was kind of a bummer so much higher hopes for 2020. Trying to finalize the Apooka hardcover, and get her to print! Booking shows now, fingers crossed. Hope everyone is doing well out there, hope to see you all again!

Apooka Update!

We're chugging along on the new Apooka hardcover. This will be a collection of the five books, with the three mini books colorized, as well as some pin up art by fellow artistst. We're hoping to have this ready to roll by summer.

April A Day

Howdy everyone! It's been a minute since the last post. I've been more active on Instagram lately. Also been on Youtube helping my good friend Joe Foo out with Camp Pencil Point videos. I started a drawing challenge with my good friend Justin Castaneda called "April A Day," where we draw April O'Neil of Ninja Turtles fame. Here's some samples, again you can see more on my Instagram @mikerroll. I will be doing another challenge during the month of May so stay tuned!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit us this weekend at Maker Faire Orlando! We also met some wonderful artists in the artist alley at the Spirit building. Apooka is always more than happy to make new friends. We even got to run off some 3D printed Apooka tests too. Thank you again to everyone who stopped by or purchased a book over the last year. 2013 was a year of major highs and lows but we're happily heading forward into 2014. We've got a few shows lined up and a new Apooka adventure is in the works. An Update!

I haven't updated in a long long while. I've been ridiculously busy lately. Not sure doing what, I don't feel like I've accomplished much lately. I feel like I'm in the some rut and then I get out only to get into another rut again. I will be at SPACE in Columbus, OH April 24th-25th with my partner in crime Joe Foo. I can't wait, it's hard to sleep at night I'm so excited. Here's some new art, an Apooka illustration and a painting from a book I worked on with my dad, The Trains of Christmas. Hope you enjoy!
